Junior Consultant – Finance and Accounting Process Advisory, SSC

Join our growing Advisory team and help leading international companies optimize their finance and business processes. At KPMG, you will work on exciting SSC and process transformation projects, collaborate with experts across the region, and contribute to solutions that create real business impact.

What will you do in this role?

  • advise KPMG clients through the global shared services and business process.
  • advise clients on finance and accounting process improvement projects (non-sector specific),
  • participate in automation assessment studies (including AI, RPA),
  • participate in SSC/BSC strategic assessments, design and implementation,
  • outsourcing (BPO) planning, deployment and management lifecycle,
  • provide advisory services to clients and KPMG project team members, to help ensure that analysis and results support engagement decision making,
  • participate in client meetings to design and implement recommendations,
  • participate in Process Transition, Knowledge Transfers & Process Reengineering,
  • perform detailed financial analyses and summarize results in support of insourcing, outsourcing, transformation engagements and on-site support,
  • participate in the documentation of As-Is and To-Be Processes, As-Is assessment and gap analysis,
  • participate in technical accounting projects,
  • participate in designing of reporting requirements for operational reports, service level requirements and process KPIs.

We are looking for you if:

  • you have BSc or MSc in the field of Economics or Finance,
  • you have up to 2 years of relevant experience in the area of finance, accounting or controlling at any SSC/BIG4/outsourcing service provider, project management,
  • you are interested in project management and familiar with the different methodologies,
  • you are fluent in English and have good communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Hungarian knowledge is a must for this position,
  • you have strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • you have a strong interest in advising clients on their sourcing strategies and building their vision and business case,
  • you are proactive and eager to learn,
  • you have an interest in the theoretical side of accounting,
  • you are flexible to join on-site support projects at client sites, taking on hands-on accounting responsibilities,
  • are a team player but able to work independently as well.
